Galaxy Note 3 Neo starts receiving Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update

As promised earlier this year, Samsung has started rolling out the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update to the Galaxy Note 3 Neo smartphone, which was released back in February 2014.

The update is currently rolling out in the company’s home country of South Korea, where it is available both OTA and via KIES for model numbers SM-N750L, SM-N750K, and SM-N750S. Other regions as well as models are expected to get it in the coming weeks.

Of course, it’s quite late, given that Android 6.0 is now out, but it’s still better than not getting the update at all. As for the update itself, it weighs in at around 900MB, carries a build date of October 12, 2015.
