After Xiaomi, HTC is reportedly working on a phone with Android One program. Reports are that HTC and Google are coming together to bring an Android One version of the HTC U11 Life. The phone, going by the leaked reports are already in works. Alongside HTC, Motorola is also working to bring a Moto – Android One phone very soon. If reports are anything to go by, then Motorola’s first Android One smartphone could be a rebranded version of the newly announced – Moto X4.
The Android One version of the HTC U11 Life report come from a developer named – LlabTooFeR. The developer took to twitter and posted about the new HTC phone. The post reads: “HTC Ocean_Life will be released under Android One program. It will lose most of the HTC apps and run stock Android O with Sense 9.0_A1.” Here HTC Ocean Life is code named HTC U11 Life.
Going by the post the HTC U11 Life with Android One program will come with no unnecessary applications onboard. The phone will come with stock Android. It is also reported that the upcoming HTC U11 Life will run on the latest Android operating system – Android 8.0 Oreo. HTC lately confirmed that three of its phones including – HTC U, HTC U11 and HTC U Ultra will get updated to Oreo.

Coming to the Android One HTC phone – which is tipped to launch in the next few months will come with minimal layer of Sense 9.0 A1 customizations. However, the smartphone may come with little or no bloatware from HTC. LlabTooFeR further writes – “However it will keep some features like EdgeSense, USonic, Zoe and HTC Camera.”
Evan Blass – a popular tipster also confirmed that this HTC phone with Android One program is in works. He leaked an image of the HTC U11 Life Android One model on Wednesday. Giving more ground to the specs that the upcoming HTC U 11 Life is suppose to come reports suggest that the phone will come with a 5.2-inch full HD display. There will also be a fingerprint scanner on the front embedded below the home button.
The upcoming HTC smartphone is said to be powered by the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 630 processor. Furthermore, the phone is expected to come with 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up to 2TB via microSD card. In the imaging department, the phone is said to come with 16-megapixel camera on both front and back panel.
Xiaomi recently announced the Mi A1 in India that comes with Android One program. At 14,999, the Xiaomi Mi A1comes comes with a 5.5-inch display and a full metal unibody design and a fingerprint scanner at the rear panel. The screen is further protected with a 2.5 D Corning Gorilla Glass 3. In the imagining department, the phone comes with a dual camera set up with two 12-megapixel sensors Out of the two cameras; one comes with a wide-angle lens, while the other camera comes with a telephoto or zoom lens. On the front, the phone includes a 5-megapixel camera.
