Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016) does AnTuTu with Exynos 7580 chipset

The Samsung Galaxy A7 update makes the news again with another leak. Just after it went by the Bluetooth SIG, it has cropped up in AnTuTu. The benchmark confirms Exynos 7580 chipset for the A710F, A710S and A710K.

This doesn’t rule out a Snapdragon 615 version like the Galaxy J7, which also has versions with the 7580. The chipset is aimed at the mid-range (unlike the 7420) and has eight Cortex-A53 cores and Mali-T720 GPU.

In the new Galaxy A7 it is paired to 3GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. The phone was running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop for the benchmark.

Like the current model, it has a 5.5″ 1080p screen and a 13MP main camera, plus a 5MP selfie shooter. The new A7 hasn’t changed much in terms of looks, though the screen glass may have a 2.5D shape and the loudspeaker has been relocated.

The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016) may not launch until after new year and from leaks we know there’s an A5 update in the works too.
