okia’s comeback into the smartphone game has revolved heavily around a pure untouched Android experience as well as timely updates. Across the price spectrum, from the no frills Nokia 3 to the flagship Nokia 8 – all Nokia smartphones run on a stock build of Android Nougat. HMD Global, the company responsible for Nokia’s company recently confirmed that all of its Android smartphones will be receiving the Android 8.0 Oreo update by the end of 2017. Now the company has announced that the entire range will also be updated to Android P in the coming months.

The announcement was made at the launch of their flagship smartphone – the Nokia 8 – in the Philippines. During a question and answer session, Shannon Mead, country manager (Philippines), HMD Global, announced that the Nokia 8, Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and even the budget oriented Nokia 3will get two years of software support including an update to Android P in 2018.
