ЕЕ, Vodafone, O2, Three and Tesco will carry the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus in the UK

The new iPhone duo has been official for a few hours now and eager fans are already looking into their options for upgrading. There is still some waiting to be done as pre-orders are set for September 12 and availability for September 25, but that only means now is the perfect time to think things over and decide on an action plan.

The most straightforward approach, of course, would be to buy an unlocked unit from Apple. The iPhone 6s will start at £539 and go up to £619 and £699 for the 64GB and 128GB versions. The 6 Plus is priced at £619, £699 and £789, respectively. However, most users are probably finding those prices way too high and are looking to take advantage of a carrier-subsidized deal for an on-contract unit.

Most major UK carriers were quick to act and have already announced that they will be offering the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. The list includes: Three, O2, Vodafone, Tesco Mobile and also EE, which means that EE’s subbrands – Orange and T-Mobile will most-likely be offering the devices as well.

On-contract prices are yet to be announced, but should be revealed in the next few days. It is also already clear that Three, O2 and EE will be offering prepaid deals for the Cupertino devices as well. Last, but not least, it is worth noting that Carphone Warehouse, one of UK’s leading unlocked device vendors will also be offering the iPhone duo. No prices have been stated there either, but they shouldn’t be very different from the aforementioned Apple quotes.
