Today Alcatel unveiled a new Android smartphone, the OneTouch Flash 2. It’s a mid-ranger that will land in seven Asian markets at first.
The OneTouch Flash 2 boasts a 5-inch 720p IPS touchscreen, a 13 MP Samsung ISOCELL rear camera with phase detection autofocus, f/2.0 aperture, and dual-tone dual-LED flash, a 5 MP selfie cam with a LED flash, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, and a 3,000 mAh battery.
It’s powered by MediaTek’s MT6753 chipset, which comes with a 1.3 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU. The phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, and has support for LTE networks and dual-SIM functionality.
It will be out soon in Volcanic Grey and Mica White. In India Flipkart will be offering it, and in the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Singapore Alcatel’s retailer of choice is Lazada. Pricing hasn’t been announced unfortunately.
