Samsung began rolling out the latest Android Lollipop revision – 5.1.1 – to the Samsung Galaxy S5 mini. The first one to get the new firmware are the US Cellular S5 mini owners.

To be more specific – the model currently getting the update is SM-G800R4. If you have this model and can’t wait for the OTA notification, you may follow the source link below and flash it manually.

The update brings all Android 5.1.1 important security fixes and improves the system stability. There are no new apps or notable features outside of the ones part of the new Android release.

While the update is currently rolling for the US Cellular users, the rest of the S5 mini phones should be following suit very soon.
