The Great Samsung Galaxy Phones That Nobody Can Buy

You might believe that the Galaxy Note or the Samsung Galaxy S21 are the best smartphones available from Samsung. However, I believe that the two phones in Samsung’s lineup are the best of all. The only issue is that no one seems to be able to contact them. I’ve written before about the Samsung Galaxy M31 – a smartphone that I’ve been using as my day-to-day handset for almost a year now. It has an incredible battery life, costs less than $300, and has all the power and features that the vast majority of customers will ever require. It lasts two days of pretty heavy usage, maybe even three at a stretch. It is the phone that has completely eliminated my fear of leaving the house without a charger or battery pack and I love it.

The M51 is a slightly larger version of the M31. In comparison to the M31’s 6.4-inch display, its screen is 6.7 inches. The M51 also packs a meatier battery, a 7000 mAh model compared to the M31’s 6000mAh pack. I’ve not been able to get a hold of a review unit myself, but people I’ve spoken with say that the M51 comfortably cruises through three days of moderate usage without requiring a charger. It costs a bit more too, around $400.
These phones hit the absolute sweet spot for me. They aren’t the fastest phones, and their cameras aren’t the best, but they still perform well and have a long battery life for a price that’s less than half of that of fancy flagships like the S21. Unfortunately, they are virtually unobtainable, at least in Western markets. (Update 5 July: Samsung has just announced a Galaxy M32, a successor to the M31, which might explain why stock is being run dry. Despite the fact that the M32 has a smaller battery (5,000 mAh) than the M31, which is a disappointment. Additionally, the phone won’t be available until later this month, only on Amazon UK.)
