Gorgeous BlackBerry Passport 2 fan-made concept renders are more a blast from the past

In the interim, Ts Designer and LetsGoDigital have produced a fine concept video of a potential BlackBerry Passport 2. The world is still waiting for the BlackBerry 5G phone or even a BlackBerry Key3 device. The clip’s highly stylized smartphone, which not only mimics the BlackBerry Passport’s classic design but also surprises, is hard not to be impressed by.

The concept BlackBerry Passport 2’s dual rear-facing cameras are the first thing that caught people off guard. The original Passport, which was released in 2014, had a single 13 MP main camera, so this is certainly an area where BlackBerry could play catch-up without betraying its business/enterprise leanings. The BlackBerry Passport 2 quickly follows with a waterproof display, allowing users to send important emails even in inclement weather. The BlackBerry Passport 2 concept is shown off by Ts Designer in a variety of appealing colors. There is a serious silver-gray model, a flashy black-and-gold model, and a simply stunning red-and-black model that would be a talking point right away if you pulled it out of your pocket. However, even though the concept designs here look terrific, it’s questionable if BlackBerry would pursue any such design language in a world of mostly curved-edge slim-line smartphones.
The concept renders for the Key3, which combine the best aspects of a BlackBerry phone with the standout tall and straight-edged design of an Xperia 1 flagship smartphone, have already suggested a design language that BlackBerry could choose. It all depends on what OnwardMobility, the company that currently holds the license, has in mind for one of the most well-known smartphone brands.
