Pre-orders for Sony’s latest flagship Xperia Z5 are steadily covering more markets world-wide, though the smartphone is yet to actually start shipping. The company’s Hong Kong and Singapore stores have now opened pre-orders too, and in Hong Kong you can go ahead and reserve a Z5 Compact as well.
The price for the Xperia Z5 (Z5 Dual, too) in Hong Kong is listed at HKD 5,698 ($735), while the Z5 Compact is expectedly cheaper and goes for HKD 4,798 ($620). The pre-order period ends on October 5, and the phones are scheduled to start shipping on October 7.
Meanwhile in Singapore you can only pre-order the Xperia Z5, and not the Compact. The price is set at SGD 998, which translates to $700. With pre-orders stretching to October 11, shipping will apparently commence a week after Hong Kong. If it’s any consolation though, Sony will be bundling a DK52 microUSB charging dock free of charge.
