LG electronics launched its W-series smartphones, consisting of the LG W10, the LG W30 and the LG W30 Pro, in India back in July. Shortly after the launch, W10 and W30 smartphones went on sale in the country. At the time, the company said that the LG W30 Pro will be available in the country later this year. Now, nearly five months after introducing its Made in India W-series smartphones in India, the LG W30 Pro will go on sale in the country.
The phone is available for Rs 14,999 on LG India’s e-shop in Purple Aster and Midnight Blue colour variants. It is available for Rs 12,490 on Amazon India where the phone is selling only in the Midnight Blue colour variant. Interested buyers can get the phone on up to Rs 9,400 off on exchange offer. Buyers can also get a discount of 10 per cent on using their Citibank credit or debit card to purchase the phone via Amazon India.
In case you are curious about the details, the LG W30 Pro features a 6.2-inch HD+ FullVision with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. The phone comes with a waterdrop display with a customizable notch. It is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 632, Adreno TM 506 GPU and it runs on Android 9.0 Pie, despite Google rolling out Android 10 last month. It sports 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage that can be expanded further using a 512GB memory card.
As far as the camera is concerned, the phone features a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 13MP standard lens with 8x zoom, a 5MP depth sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens with a 120-degree field of view. On the front the phone sports a 16MP camera system. The phone comes pre-loaded with Amazon Prime apps and it has AI Face Unlock and fingerprint sensor for unlocking the phone.
As far as the battery is concerned, the LG W30 Pro comes with 4,050mAh battery with support for fast charging 3.0. As mentioned before, it will be available in India in Blue and Purple colour variants.
